The award-winning EZ Medical Word Board from Vidatak is the only evidence-based, patient designed communications board available today for non-verbal patients. Designed by physicians and tested on real patients in hospital settings, this easy-to-use communication aid allows hospital ICU and ER nurses and doctors to obtain critical information from patients who cannot speak or are non-English speaking. By providing the EZ Medical Word Board to patients who are unable to communicate verbally, the patient is able to indicate his or her status or needs by pointing to words in real time. To use the board the patient simply points to the appropriate word or uses a non-toxic marker to mark it. All marks are easily erased with a moist tissue paper. Each board is printed on large 11" x 17" dry erase cardboard with pictures on both sides. Comes individually shrink-wrapped with a dry-erase marker.
